We handcrafted them with simple paper, and each flight was an exciting event—some soared far, while others made only short trips. This pastime was endlessly entertaining, and even the most inventive kids added features like tails, fenders, and other details inspired by real aircraft. Of course, these modifications slowed the flight or prevented it from lasting long, but that didn’t dampen our enthusiasm.
